Active was established in 1987. It produced fitness equipment from the start. In collaboration with the inventor Anghel Muscocea, it introduced Fitness Pump to the market in 2001 and was the only manufacturer of this item under license in the world. Fitness Pump was Gold Medal Winner at Paris International Invention Fair in 2001. It collaborated with Anghel Muscocea again to develop the second generation of Fitness Pump and a new product - Gym Soles. Two newly-developed items are available at the end of 2009.

It extended its range of products into Neoprene Slimming products through joint effort of a Japanese customer in 1990. It was the first one to introduce reversible neoprene slimming shorts to the market by adopting the flat seam to replace elastic bands.
